Elly Rundqwist
creative Design and marketing
Hi, I'm Elly!
I'm a Boston University Advertising graduate living in NYC! When I'm not at school I split my time between South Florida and Atlanta, where I grew up, and spend my days loving and studying the ocean and collecting so many seashells that I simply don't know where to put them anymore.

I'm a firm believer in the idea that nerd culture has become pop-culture, and I'm not ashamed to unabashedly share my love for the realm of all things fantastical. At recess I convinced not only myself, but all my friends around me, that I was, in fact, a fairy. Not only that, but I was a mermaid, too. Head Girl in the Ravenclaw common room. A powerful Jedi that convinced the avengers to let me join the team. A child of Athena on a quest in my own backyard. I dreamed in broad daylight, and while everyone else seemed to let their inner child slip as we hurdled toward adulthood, it's something I still take pride in allowing myself to play today. Over the past year I've allowed myself to find comfort in placing myself into the worlds I love so much, and much of that can be seen in my portfolio.

I'm an art history aficionado who uses literature like a lifeline and still loves film photography. I'm obsessed with digging into new projects, whether it be writing a TaylorSwiftxLorde mashup that I'll force my friends to listen to while I strum the guitar or deciding to fully research and edit wiki pages on different marine invertebrates. I love to travel, to meet new people and hear their stories, to try their foods, to imagine life in someone else's shoes for a while. I seek adventures and in the end though, when all is said and done, I long to move overseas and disappear- maybe settle down in a cottage somewhere near the beach and live off what I love while writing and creating whatever my heart desires.
she knew what was up.
So write long instagram captions. Don't turn down Mamma Mia at the traffic light. Quote 10 Things I Hate About You and pretend your favourite characters are walking along your side. Life's too short not to have a little fun with it.
